Pompeii, Positano and Limoncello

Day 1 – Depart from the US.

Day 2 – Arrive in Naples. You will be met outside baggage claim and travel by taxi to the hotel in Sorrento. Relax, unpack, and explore on your own. Meet with the group late this afternoon for an overview of the week and a cocktail reception with an amazing view.

Day 3 – Your expert guide Claudio will take you on an insider’s walking tour of Sorrento. Visit A. Gargiulo & Jannuzzi and see local artisans create stunning wooden handicrafts. After the tour, do some shopping and explore the city on your own, or simply relax at the hotel’s beautiful rooftop pool before dinner.

Day 5 – We spend the day on the breathtaking Isle of Capri. After taking the high-speed ferry across, we board our private boat for a tour around the island. Anacapri is the setting for our leisurely lunch where you can take in the spectacular view. Spend the rest of the day visiting the sites and shops on Capri before returning to Sorrento on the ferry. Dinner is on your own tonight.

Day  6 – Today we wind our way along the magnificent Amalfi Coast, stopping in Positano to visit a ceramic factory and touring a paper factory and cathedral in Amalfi. Explore Amalfi and have lunch on your own before we continue to the charming town of Ravello where you have more free time to explore. We return to Sorrento for dinner.   

Day 7 – Today we savor the cuisine of coastal Italy as we prepare a meal using the freshest ingredients under the direction of a local chef. Following our lunch, we tour the picturesque village of Positano. Spend the rest of the day strolling and shopping at leisure in this seaside paradise. We return to Sorrento where you have the evening on your own.   

Day 8 – Today is devoted to relaxing and rejuvenation. We journey to the idyllic island of Ischia for a spa day at the Poseidon Thermal Gardens where you can soak up the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. Lunch is available at the spa where you can eat at leisure. At the end of this restorative day we return to Sorrento for dinner.  

Day 9 – We saved the best for last! Today we board a private yacht and spend the day cruising the tranquil, azure waters of the bay. The captain and crew will serve a delicious lunch on board and keep your glass filled with Prosecco. After our amazing day on the water, we return to Sorrento where you can do some last-minute shopping before our farewell dinner.   

Day 10 – Arrivederci!
